Abdelkrim Ouazzani is an artist born in Tetouan in 1954. After studying at the School of Fine Arts in Tetouan, he continued his studies at the School of Fine Arts in Paris before returning to his hometown to integrate the teaching staff of the National Higher Institute of Fine Arts of Tetouan.
At the age of 69, the painter has left his mark on Moroccan contemporary art. His works are an invitation to a whimsical world of bright colors where a universe full of candor and grace is shaped.
His strength lies in the power of expression combined with the spontaneity of gesture, and in his ability to give soul to all his subjects. The childish approach of his creations is paradoxically a highly elaborate approach to rebuild a world where he makes life better.
Since 1976, Abdelkrim Ouazzani has participated to several collective and individual exhibitions both on the national territory and in Europe.
