Omar Bouragba is a painter born in 1945, in Marrakech. During his stay in the capital (Rabat), he rubbed shoulders with the cultural and artistic environment and then launched into painting from 1959.

Omar Bouragba is considered one of the key figures in Moroccan contemporary art. Passionate about abstract art, his creations reflect his moods, represented with beautiful harmony and fluidity. The self-taught artist often changed his style and pictorial approach, which further enriched his very prolific work.

The artist works in several artistic organizations and has a long career crowned by exhibitions in Morocco and abroad. Many of his works are in collections around the world.
